The Naze Millionaires have said that the encouragement given to them by their loyal fans would be key towards securing their first win of the campaign on Friday
The Naze Millionaires are yet to pick up their first win of the season after drawing at home to Dolphins before their loss to Crown of Ogbomosho last week.
Club spokesman Cajetan Nkwopara told Goal that the support of the fans would be key towards securing their first home win of the season and thus ease the pressure on the players and the technical crew.
Even though the game is fixed for Friday as against Sunday which the fans are used to, Nkwopara said that the change should not be a hindrance to those that call themselves fans of the club.
“We are in a must-win cracker this Friday and we want the support of all our fans to ensure that we secure maximum points against Sharks. It won’t augur well for us and it might also increase the pressure on the team if we fail to win this match,” Nkwopara told Goal.
“I want to enjoin our supporters to see the change in schedule as a sacrifice they must to pay to see a resurgent Heartland on Friday.”
Heartland have a point thus far from two games this season.
