Ogun Police Arrests 20 Suspected Cultists

Police dispatchThe Ogun State Police Command has arrested 20 teenagers in Iperu and Sagamu communities located in Ikenne and Sagamu Local Government Areas of the state, during an initiation process into ‘Eye’ confraternity, a secret cult.

The teenagers were paraded by the State Commissioner of Police, Ikemefuna Okoye, at the state police headquarters.

Others paraded included a middle aged trainee Reverend Father, Ndubuisi Ignasius, who allegedly robbed a man of N3.7 million at Agbara area of the state.

Mr Ikemefuna Okoyo assured residents of the state of adequate security of life and property but challenged them to give useful information to the police on hideouts of criminals, in order to reduce crime rates in the state.
